St. Paul Lutheran School
Chuckery, Ohio
September 2005

Parents have the opportunity to speak privately to the teacher about any concerns or issues that they may have. It’s always a new
experience to go into a different classroom with new rules, new Ohio standards to meet, etc.

Teachers get to see the full dynamic of the student’s home and family in a few minutes. Later, when students talk about their dog,
cat, quick breakfast, etc., the teacher quickly can visualize the situation and can talk with the student knowledgably.

Children are a gift from God. God expects that we, as parents and teachers, care for and treasure them.

We thank each family for the kindnesses shown to the teachers. The Dees family wins a special reward because they received three
teachers into their home in August. . .three children in three different classrooms.

New Teachers’ Aide
We are blessed to have Rita Rinehart as a teachers’ aide this year. She will be paid from our state auxiliary money and will work
Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Rita will be working with students in the classroom in intervention and with
computer keyboarding as well. Rita has volunteered in our school for many years and we are so happy that it has worked out that
she can be with us even more. We
LOVE having Rita in our school!

Music and Band Teacher Hired
We welcome Mrs. Cheryll Hinman—Bickham to our staff. Mrs. Bickham will be teaching classroom music on Tuesday and
Wednesday mornings. If enough students would like to learn how to play an instrument in grades 4-7, she will teach band after
school on Wednesdays. She will be teaching music at Trinity Lutheran School in Marysville this year also.
